EASE ALERT

About Us

Healthier Heroes. Safer Communities.

The Birth of EaseAlert: A Fire Service Family Legacy

EaseAlert was co-founded by Blake Richardson, whose father’s long career in the fire service and a close family friend’s heart attack on duty sparked the idea. Realizing heart attacks are the leading cause of on-duty deaths, Blake made it his mission to help save lives.

A Safer, Smarter Way to Alert

Legacy alerting systems rely on loud, jarring alarms that trigger a dangerous startle response. These systems spike heart rates, amplify stress, and put lives at risk before the rig even rolls out of the bay. EaseAlert is a purpose-built solution designed to replace those alerts with calmer, smarter signals—tactile vibrations and soft red lights that wake the body without shocking the system.

We’re always looking for the driven people who are looking to bring the fire service forward and make a lifelong impact.

What Drives Us

We live by one purpose: to keep firefighters S.A.F.E.

Whether you’re in a small rural department, or an ISO-1 rate metro department, we strive to reduce risk, stress, and injury so you can respond faster, operate smarter, and go home safer.

Our Mission: Revolutionizing Firefighter Safety

EaseAlert is dedicated to creating smarter, safer alert systems for firefighters. Designed with input from firehouse leaders and veterans, our technology is built to enhance safety and protect those who risk everything for their communities.

Designed by Firefighters. Built for the Front Line.

EaseAlert’s technology isn’t just cutting-edge—it’s battle-tested by the brave. We’ve partnered with firehouse leaders, fire chiefs, and field veterans to design an alerting system that meets their real-world needs. Every element of our Firefighter Alerting System (FFAS Gen9) was engineered with their input and insights.

Legacy Meets Innovation

We’re proud of our roots. We’re built on family. And we’re driven by a deep respect for the brotherhood and sisterhood of the fire service. But we don’t just honor the past—we’re shaping the future. From wearable haptics to visual signals, our FFAS platform delivers modular, scalable, and intuitive alerting systems that integrate with every kind of firehouse and workflow.

We're Just Getting Started

Our purpose is bigger than tech.
It’s about giving back quality years to those who give everything, often without being asked. It’s about making sure no family loses a loved one because of a sound that came too fast, too loud, or too late. It’s about creating healthier heroes because our communities depend on them.
